Charles A. Monfort Charles Monfort served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs from 1994-1998. In this capacity he was the Congressional liaison for the $22 billion Military Health System, and also managed the agency’s strategic planning, policy coordination, and beneficiary education programs. He has also worked for nearly a decade in the House of Representatives, including four years for Rep. Martin Sabo, currently Ranking Democrat on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security. Charles holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from George Washington University. For the past twenty years, he has been actively engaged in his community of Arlington, Virginia serving in a leadership capacity on numerous county commissions. |
